I have a list of chic reads that I visit everyday and Camille Styles blog is one of them. She always has fresh new ideas for her readers! This week Camille hosted a soiree at her home and her lovely friend, Tolly, took these shots of Camille's home. Make sure to visit Tolly's blog for all the details on this Food and Flowers soiree.
I particularly loved the photos of Camille's gorgeous backyard! What a beautiful setting she has overlooking the water. I just had to share this design inspiration with you!
I've gotten many emails asking me where can they find those fabulous straws that bloggers are using in their photos. Guess what! There are many companies out there that sell them, but I really love this company called, Garnish. Since, it's the first that I found with these fab straws, I've decided to share it with all of you! You can buy just one straw if you want! This company is so flexible!
I have to confess. I wasn't loving the new look of Restoration Hardware when they made their design change last year. But now, I've had a change of heart and can't get enough of their gorgeous design inspiration! I am so loving RH's new look with the weathered gray tables and chairs. It's so chic! Here are a few assembles that really stand out to me!
I've been searching for ideas for my pool and patio area and these beauties really strike a cord with me. I love that they are neutral and blend in well with the environment. Do you have a beautiful patio area or are you dreaming of a beachy one like me?

Hi everyone! Hope you're enjoying your Monday! I just got back from a delicious lunch for my dear friend's birthday. We had burgers and french fries at a very cool place! Oh my! Thank God I run!
Now, for a little design inspiration! As you may know already, I've been in the color kick lately and loved the photos below when I came across them. This type of design is not something I would usually be drawn to but, they would work for me in a lovely beach home setting.
To me this kitchen looks coastal and the table near the cooking area is a fantastic idea!
I had a little shopping spree the other day at my local J.Crew and my sweet friends there at the store always treat me so well! I bought three fedora hats that were on sale.
While I was there, I thought about what I could wear to work when school starts again. Fall is all about color and I don't know about you, but I am tired of wearing black! Below are just a few new colorful things from J.Crew that would be perfect to wear to work.
Here are some design ideas to get that west coast California style that's so laid back and chic. I'm loving all of the neutral colors that could take us from summer right into fall (sorry I said fall). Can't believe school starts in about a month. Until then, I'm enjoying new ideas and inspiration to change things up a bit! Enjoy!
Good morning! Hope all of you had a great weekend! Today, I have a beautiful beach house to share with you in St. Barts. This home has unbelievable breathtaking views and modern amenities. Let me know what you think!
This beautiful 40,000 square foot home belongs to a Hollywood executive who loves to entertain in first-class style. I am head over heels in love with the bamboo ceiling that is found in many of the rooms of this beachside retreat. I would love to hear what your thoughts are! Hope you have a productive summer Monday!
A very exciting online store called, Absolutely Beautiful Things, will be going live on Thursday, July 28th, 2011! Be sure to mark your calenders! This designer, Anna Spiro, is passionate about color and loves to be surrounded by things that she loves. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us! Her work does make me smile!
This summer my calender has been quite busy spending quality time with friends. I have different groups of friends; friends I run with, friends I work with, my book club friends and the list goes on. We've gone to the movies, out to lunch, dinner and the beach. It's been a fun summer looking forward to the next get-together! Next up, a beach party to celebrate a birthday!
During a trip to the grocery store today, I decided to visit the magazine section and see what was new in the design world. The first page I flipped to in House andHomewas this DIY table runner project. I've always loved white and blue striped tea towels and I thought this would be worth sharing! The gorgeous table setting isn't too shabby either! :0)
