Martha's Vineyard Cottage & Giveaway Winners


One thing that makes me happy is seeing a cozy little laid back cottage near the water.  When I younger and just married, I loved decorating in this style and it brings back so many fun memories of visiting vintage shops and yard sales looking for special, one of a kind pieces.  This Victorian 900 square foot cottage is designed to incorporate the island's long history of whaling in Martha's Vineyard.

This 900-square-foot cottage maintains ties to its 1869 origin with worn, warm wood pieces, a tumble of beloved hand-me-downs and antiques, and a considered collection of whale motifs and tools. Yet the space is updated for today with eye-catching chandeliers, generous seating, and updated surfaces in the kitchen and bath. Unifying it all: a relaxing palette of greens, creams, and blues, with hits of red.
