Beachy Chic...

The next room design I will be working on is my living room. As of now, the only things in that room that will be staying are two wicker chairs that I purchased at the Williams Sonoma outlet near the Hamptons. I had to have them, so I paid an arm and a leg to have them shipped to Miami and honestly haven't regretted that decision since. They actually go with the coffee table that you see in my family room make-over. My plan is... buy a slipcover sofa from City Furniture that is about $600, two comfy side chairs to match, a large 9x12 seagrass rug and two tall lamps that are made of a grayish wood from Target. That should cover the big pieces to fill out the room and I've been watching anxiously to see what accessories Williams Sonoma has in store for us this summer and low and behold! I couldn't be more thrilled with their accessories! I picked out some pieces that  will inspire my new room and love the mix of patterns in the pillows. Of course, coral and shells are a must and that beautiful watercolor painting would look perfect over the sofa...
